Financial Education Program (FEP) of Microfinance Centre (MFC) aims to improve financial capabilities of low-income households in the transitioning countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia through raising awareness and building the skills of local development organizations and financial service providers in multi-channel delivery of financial education. Eventually, this program seeks to improve economic security of low-income households and contribute to more inclusive financial systems.
Since 2004 the Program has built the capacity of nearly 1000 local trainers in 16 countries* and reached out with financial education including courses, counselling and/or campaigns (3 Cs) to almost 100,000 low-income households.
